In the Four Hour Work Week, Tim talks about his Muse business models that allow him to travel the world. These businesses, which I will call a 'muse' (as he called it) are designed to be a passive source of income for Tim. By passive, I mean that they essentially run without his focus while they produce him revenue that he can use to travel, start other businesses, etc.
THE PERFECT BUSINESS MODEL SERIES
I will be starting a series of blog posts related to the four hour work week business model so that we can all motivate each other to keep pushing ourselves to live the 4HWW lifestyle. This blog series will be part of my input in the conversation, but I'd love for others to get involved in any way they can think of.
SERIES CONTENT
I'll talk about how the internet can be used to make each element of a business (marketing, sales, payment/delivery, customer service, etc.) can be strategically designed to be 100% passive and thus not require any ongoing focus of the business owner. While this goal is quite ambitious (after all, how can a business simply produce cash without anyone working on it each day), it's definitely possible. I'm learning a TON about the internet and how to market/sell/etc. on the internet. This blog series will essentially be a compilation of what I'm learning, input from others so we can all share our knowledge, and eventually spur a few 'learn by doing' activities where many of us will actually work on our muse's.
I hope that you enjoy this series. I'll be posting the first piece of the series, the marketing piece, this week. Stay tuned and tell your friends.
